Raw Collection is Up!

Hello top those who still follow this blog!

I have some exciting news. My FIRST poetry collection, Raw Collection is officially on sale through Barnes & Noble! You can check it out here: Raw Collection. It’s print on demand, but I am honestly amazed by the quality. It is so much better than I could’ve imagined! My friend ordered one, and got it on 4 days, so why not order once today?!

I swear I’m not trying to wear out the exclamation key, this is just really exciting!

I hope you love it as much as I do!

Life Update #4? (So Much)

Hi everyone! I know I haven’t been active on here at all, I feel really bad honestly, but here are a few reasons why.

I think I posted a thing about this last year, but I am the editor in chief and desktop publishing designer for Here, There be a Writer‘s literary magazine “Stories to be Told.” We are on issue seven now. It’s been a lot of fun, and a lot of learning to teach myself how to use InDesign. Check her out at missdragonlady.blogspot.com and send any prose, poetry or art for submissions to draconicwitch@gmail.com.

On my end, I have created a portfolio of pieces I’ve made, sans any of the magazines because they won’t upload PDFs, at Anthony Luta’s Portfolio, I’ve created a Patreon at Black Catt Writing Patreon for my poetry and some short stories, and I’ve created a Creative Writing Workshop at my local library for creative people in my area to come and talk about their art. So far we have about 6 people, but we range from someone who writes music and poetry, a couple people that dabble in everything, and some that are just poetry. It’s a lot of fun and I am so glad people actually want to meet up and talk about their pieces.

To top all of this off, I’ve been working at Barnes & Noble for a little over a year now, and so much has happened! We got an order of over 40,000 books to be sent for kids in the one school district we work with, there were about eight elementary schools in total. I’ve just started my temp mod, temporary manager on duty, training and now the Sales and Inventory Manager position is open, so I think I’m going for it. I’ll get more money and it’s a good resume booster.

So, my readers, if I still have any, this is where I’ve been for about ten months. Life has been insane, but it’s working out pretty well. If you’re interested in some of my newer poetry, oh, I’m writing a book of poetry too, please check out my Patreon. I have tiers from $2 to $10, each with their unique perks. I’m hoping to get at least 5 by the end of the month, so even if you only can subscribe to the $2 tier, that’s GREAT.

I hope you all have had a lovely few months and until I actually try this blog again, TTYL.
