Vvv vvv. Derek groaned and reached for his phone. “Derek, I think we need to talk.” Seven words and Derek’s heart froze.
“When do you want to meet up?” He sent the text and clutched the plastic casing and glass screen. Vvv— He opened the text before it could even go off again.
“You should come over now. You can do whatever you want to get here.” Derek couldn’t believe it. Bill remembered.
“I’ll be right there.” Derek replied and walked to the mirror. No time for clothes. He thought of Bill and walked through.
“There you are.”
“Well, you said right now. So here I am. What did you want to talk about?” Derek went to the bed and sat down. Bill had already seen him naked, so why try to cover up?
“What are you? You came through my mirror last night, and then left without a trace. I know I didn’t drink anything last night, so why do I feel like I have a hangover?” Bill stood in the doorway with a towel around his waist.
“That’s all very…complicated.”
“Try me, because all I know is you just came through a mirror. A fucking mirror, and I don’t know how to deal with this right now. Plus the murder investigation. Just tell me.” Bill walked up to Derek, wanting to hold him, but Derek looked away.
“You’re hung over because as you were inside me, I was feeding on your energy. Ever since I went through puberty, it’s all I could do.” Derek couldn’t look at Bill. He didn’t even know why he was telling him this. He never met anyone that he couldn’t glamour.
“So you feed…on sex?” Bill asked Derek. He put his hand on Derek’s shoulder, slightly rubbing it.
“Yup. I don’t know why I’m like this, but I think I’m what they call, and Incubus. We feed on sexual energy. When I first looked at you at my house, I knew I needed you, badly, I just didn’t know I wanted you. That’s why I left. I need to feed once a day, and at the end…at the end they die. I couldn’t…wouldn’t do that to you.” Derek put his hand over Bill’s.
“Hey.” Bill sat down next to Derek. “If a hangover is all I got from the most amazing sex I’ve had in years, then I want one for every day until I die.”
“Be careful what you wish for.” Derek said and straddled Bill. The only thing between them was a mere piece of cloth. “You might just get it.” Derek kissed Bill, siphoning some of his energy, but stopped. He caressed Bill’s face. The color had drained a bit, and his eyes became clouded. He looked so happy. “Bill.” Derek ground his hips on top of Bill’s hips.
“If you don’t mind. I need to feed. Do you think I can come back after?” Derek continued to grind on top of him. “It’s so you won’t die.”
“As long as you promise to come back.” Bill said and kissed Derek’s neck.
“Anything for you.”
